Focaccia With Grapes And Rosemary
Ingredients for 8 people
  • 500 g of bread dough (with olive oil)
  • 350 g of grapes (green and black)
  • a few sprigs of rosemary
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • 20 ml of sweet wine (e.g. Moscato o Passito di Pantelleria)
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Roll out the bread dough in a ¼-inch sheet. Place in a square pie dish lined with wax paper and oiled.

Rinse and dry the grapes. Poke holes in the dough with a finger. Place a grape in each hole.

Sprinkle with sugar and brush with extra virgin olive oil. Add a few sprigs of rosemary. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.

Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, drizzle with sweet wine and return to the oven for 4-6 minutes. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
